Hello Everyone.
What I miss about the “old days” is that artists would release new albums regularly, and music chugged along at a reasonable pace.
Nowadays, it seems that the more successful the performer, the longer their fans are forced to wait between projects, as in the years between album projects by the likes of Dido, Madonna, and others.
One band that has always seemed to have stayed both creative and productive is
Erasure , whose new single
I Could Fall In Love With You is scheduled for a
UK release on 02 April, 2007.
For those of you hankering for classic Erasure, look no further than this Sire/Genre
Boys United Compilation CD , featuring the Spanish Language Version of Love To Hate You, or this exclusive and official double 12” release from Uruguay of

Las Vegas on June 5
th .

Saul Watson - Product Promotion Planet Rock News More to Download: Motley Crue have been confirmed to play this year's Download festival. The original line up of Nikki Six, Vince Neil, Mick Mars and Tommy Lee will return to Donington for the first time in 17 years. It's bound to be excess all areas with Iron Maiden and Velvet Revolver also on the bill. The festival kicks off between 8-10th June. Ziggy's rags to riches: David Bowie's, Ziggy Stardust costume from Ziggy's legendary final performance will go under the hammer next month along with Marc Bolan's electric guitar, Freddie Mercury's regal cloak and concert posters for the Clash and Led Zeppelin. The rock memorabilia will be auctioned at Christie's in South Kensington on 26th April. Gibson Photo-Finish: London's Blink Gallery is currently hosting a free exhibition dedicated to Gibson Guitars called 'Gibson Through The Lens'. Guitar gods Jimmy Page, BB King, Jeff Beck, Townshend and Dylan appear in the exhibition's 50 stills from photographers such as Ross Halfin. Highlights include are a rare shot of Hendrix in action and Kurt Cobain post 'Nevermind'. This Gibson homage runs till 24th March.
Eddie Goes To Rehab: Eddie Van Halen has posted a very personal message to fans on the official Van Halen website saying he can't perform at his best at the moment and stating "that’s why I have decided to enter a rehabilitation facility to work on myself, so that in the future I can deliver the 110% that I feel I owe you and want to give you.". A Van Halen tour is looking less likely right now. Get well soon Eddie. New Hall of Fame Recruits : This week saw the induction of REM and Van Halen into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. It was a mini reunion for REM, with former drummer, Bill Berry teaming up with Michael Stipe, Mike Mills and Peter Buck to play songs from their early career for the ceremony. Sadly it was not so celebratory in the Halen camp, with Eddie in rehab and unable to attend and the absence of Dave Lee Roth. Things are not looking hopeful for the expected Van Halen Reunion tour we were promised!
