Re: KYLIE MINOGUE Fever (Stunning original 2002 Swedish 23½" x 35½"
full colour concert poster to promote her gig in Stockholm on 30th
May. The poster features a sexy shot of Kylie wearing a white dress,

Measuring 23½" x 35½" and printed to smooth paper stock, this

a little minor creasing, but no pinholes, sellotape, rips or tears. An

Logan Rah Sydney, N.S.W AUSTRALIA Created Fri 4th Jan '08 04:05 (GMT)Promo copy?? How much is it worth? I bought a copy of metal machine music off of Ebay a little while ago, when i recieved it i looked at the back and relised that when held up to the light you can see embossed in the top left hand corner "Not for sale, for promotional use only". I Figured this was a joke that appeared on all the albums, given the other writing on the cover. But I went Into a record strore the other day and picked up the copy they had and it did not have the "Promo" lable, just wondering If any one knows if this is a genuin Promo copy or where some albums pressed with this exstra bit? And how much is it worth?[reply to this topic ]

Laura Stoneman - UK and Import Releases UNITED KINGDOM Created Wed 2nd Jan '08 17:27 (GMT)Queen & Paul Rodgers single instock NOW. That's right. I am pleased to announce that after a late delivery at EMI and a late delivery to us. The Queen & Paul Rodgers single 'Say It Isn't True' is instock NOW. It has not been that closely a
guarded secret that rock legends Queen and Paul Rodgers have been in the
recording studio for their first sessions together following their successful
world tour of 2005/2006. Indeed, both singer/songwriter and founding member of
Free/Bad Company Paul Rodgers and Brian May have been quoted on their websites
as being "quietly excited" about the music that has been produced from this
creative union.
Spurred on by their commitments as
Ambassadors to Nelson Mandela's 46664 HIV AIDS global campaign, on which the
spotlight will fall December 1 with a World Aids Day awareness and fundraising
concert in Johannesburg, South Africa, Brian May, Roger Taylor and Paul Rodgers
are rushing to finish a track specially written for 46664 by Roger Taylor and
have it available as a free download in time for this coming Saturday’s AIDS HIV
benefit concert.
The track, Taylor 's 'Say It's Not
True', originally came to light for the launch of the 46664 campaign back in
November 2003. Taylor wrote the song as a gift to
Mandela and performed it live for him for the first time with Brian May and Dave
Stewart at the inaugural 46664 concert in Cape Town that month. The song carries the
message that HIV AIDS is something that can affect any one of us no matter our
sexual or racial status.
Taylor performed an acoustic version
of the song again nightly during the Queen + Paul Rodgers' 2005 tour, each time
dedicating it to M...

Peter Fenton - North American Office USA Created Sat 29th Dec '07 09:29 (GMT) Edited Mon 14th Jan '08 16:08 (GMT) Edited 13 times It's The End Of The Year As We Know It
Hello, Everyone. What kind of year was 2007 for you? It all seems a messy blur to me in so many ways. Best to leave the past in the past, and keep looking forward! I should tattoo that on my hand, because I'm bound to forget in a day or two... but onward and upward, right?
As predicted, we're starting the New Year off with a bounty of collectables. Among the best, new and authentically AUTOGRAPHED items I have to share this week include three specimens I hold in especially high esteem by MORRISSEY , FOO FIGHTERS , and QUEENSRYCHE . You may click on the individual pics below for a closer look and a full description of each!
Stephen Borkowski - UK Buyer UNITED KINGDOM Created Fri 28th Dec '07 17:02 (GMT)Merry Christmas Seasons greetings to one and all. Over Christmas I’ve had the worst case of full-on MANFLU. I thought I’d miraculously managed to avoid it despite the fact that staff members here at Esprit Towers have been dropping like flies, then Christmas Eve, a sneezing fit, coughing, headache, the works. So I took myself off to the supermarket (which was full of panic stricken blokes trying to find that last minute perfect gift for their loved ones!) to get well and truly prepared. Tissues, cough syrup, lozenges, headache tablets and £15 later I was ready for the worst.
Despite feeling pretty rotten I went home and prepared all the vegetables and cooked the meat ready for the main event of Christmas Day – nope not the Queens speech, or even the presents – the eating! My favourite part of the Christmas period, all the things you get to eat, guilt free (until 1st January anyway). Chocolates, cake, pudding, sausage rolls, chips and dips, YUM! So much food and so little time. Two days just isn’t enough to consume everything, but still back to work…….
I hope the festive period has been enjoyable for you all and I hope Santa has bought you all the things you asked for. If not why not treat yourself to a post Christmas present from my latest arrivals? There’s so much to choose from, take a look……

Barry UNITED KINGDOM Created Thu 27th Dec '07 20:01 (GMT)Camel rarities As a long time follower of Camel, I wanted to know what other people have thought about them. In particular I would like to hear from any one who has rare or unusual releases that they might be interested in selling. For those who don't know, the founder member and central person of Camel, Andy Latimer, is currently recovering from a bone marrow transplant. Please refer to www.camelproductions.com for details. As for me, I think that Camel have always been different in a way that appeals to eclectic tastes like my own and it would be nice to think that there are many others who see Camel's music that way too. Laura Stoneman - UK and Import Releases UNITED KINGDOM Created Mon 24th Dec '07 13:06 (GMT)A letter of Forthcoming Goodwill from the Man himself......
Hello Santa here...Laura has given me a list and kindly asked me to tell you about all the wonderful new releases that you can expect to see in the New Year; including: MICHAEL JACKSON featuring WILL.I.AM The Girl Is Mine
'Thriller' is the biggest selling studio album of time, and with this lead single from the new 'Thriller 25' album it has been given a fresh new sound. 'The Girl Is Mine 2008' is the lead single and the first new music from Michael Jackson in 7 years. Michael has chosen to work with will.i.am, the driving force behind the Black Eyed Peas, who takes over the duetting duties, instead of Paul McCartney! This is a chance to introduce and update the track for a new audience, and it will serve to remind those who are familiar with it of the song's timeless qualities.
CAT POWER JukeboxCat Power returns with 'Jukebox', her second album of cover songs and a tribute to the great vocalists who have influenced her over the years. Recorded in Dallas, Memphis and Miami with Stu Sikes [who also worked on Loretta Lynn's Grammy-winning 'Van Lear Rose'], 'Jukebox' contains twelve tracks, eleven of which are covers and one, 'Song To Bobby', is brand new and a suitable inclusion as she wrote it about meeting Bob Dylan for the first time (it also precedes her version of 'I Believe In You' on this record). This is the first record she has made with her band Dirty Delta Blues – the quartet of Dirty Three's Jim White, Delta 72's Gregg Foreman, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's Judah Bauer and Lizard Music's Erik Paparozzi – and they make up a big part of this album. Also making guest appearances on the record are Spooner Oldham ...

Happy Holidays, Everyone. I'm working as hard as Santa this week, trying to get everything caught up and squared away in order to present you with the best possible items from which to choose. But unlike Santa, it's not important whether you are naughty or nice, just so long as you know what you want, and you jump on that desire! This week, I'd like to spotlight an item we are offering for the first time ever. In 1964, Charlie Watts wrote a tribute to the inimitable Charlie Parker entitled ODE TO A HIGH FLYING BIRD , which we are proud to offer for sale today -- ONLY ONE COPY AVAILABLE! Twenty-Seven years later, the book was reprinted for Charlie's reissue box set, FROM ONE CHARLIE TO ANOTHER . I'd like to be able to offer out dozens of both editions, but there's always a little Scrooge mixed in with Santa, it seems. It's no coincidence that along with these loving tributes to Charlie "Yardbird" Parker, I shall now point you toward this original 1965 stereo pressing of ... [reply to this topic ]
