Robin Salazar - South American Office MEXICO Created Mon 6th Nov '06 13:24 (GMT)Sounds exciting! in all non-spanish language speakers countries the single to follow was 'te quiero puta', but because of the explicit title (in spanish) they decided to put something else and as b-side they put the 'te quiero puta' track.[reply to this topic ]

Neal Handley-Sawer - Merchandise Buyer UNITED KINGDOM Created Mon 6th Nov '06 10:46 (GMT)new t-shirts just arrived.... Yes, I know it's hardly t-shirt weather, but you can always pop a t-shirt below a button-up shirt, or a zip-up top so people can still see your band of choice - in addition it means you can give these a bit of wear before next year - alternatively take a holiday in Australia. Anyhow, just arrived are some stunning [and I do mean that] pink Depeche Mode very limited local crew t-shirts [XL only I'm afraid], a Led Zep tie-dye 'Hermit' design shirt from America and an ex-tour shirt from the recent Pearl Jam dates - I have only limited stock on all these designs, so get in quick if you don't want to be disappointed.[reply to this topic ]
Michael Cambridge - UK Northern Office UNITED KINGDOM Created Mon 6th Nov '06 10:33 (GMT) Edited Mon 6th Nov '06 13:01 (GMT)Prog Rock Monsters - Just Arrived!! We really do spoil you don't we - Just arrived are several rarities released on the legendary Vertigo with 'Swirl' labels and in fantastic Mint condition as well. If you can find better I'll recite poetry in drag in Central London [Normal exceptions and small print apply and EIL buyers purchases are exempt], such is the pedigree of the items. First up is the self titled Odin LP, a more obscure release on the label which comes complete with the original poster or what about a German issue Asylum LP by Cressida released in 1971, which looks brand new. Finally the self titled Affinity LP , again in fabulous condition.
Don't delay as these will be unlikely to stick around - more gems to be added this week!!

bk4music Austin, tx USA Created Sat 4th Nov '06 04:07 (GMT)One magical record This is simply one of the most lifelike, dynamic, emotional recordings I've ever heard on vinyl. It conveys to me so many aspects of what it is to be fully human. The Duke just KNEW what it was like to be fully ALIVE on stage; despite what he may have had to live with off stage, in an era where racismwas still more the way than away. Gotta love a man that could put everything else aside and just flatout PLAY.[reply to this topic ]

Peter Fenton - North American Office USA Created Fri 3rd Nov '06 21:51 (GMT) Edited Mon 6th Nov '06 10:14 (GMT) Edited 4 times November's Dark Side With Pink Floyd forever on the collective consciousness of worldwide music enthusiasts and historians, even solo releases from the original band members elicit extreme interest and praise. In the US, David Gilmour’s 2006 album release, On An Island , was released in a limited quantity as a 2xCD set featuring the rare bonus track “Island Jam,” and we have but a few copies left to offer. Roger Waters’ fans are loyal, indeed, and may well tell you What God Wants while praising Roger’s operatic history of the French Revolution, Ca Ira ! While in years past, they helped provide the Rock Of The Century , Nick Mason still trades a Lie For a Lie , Rick Wright still invites you into his Wet Dream , and Syd Barrett still wonders “Wouldn’t You Miss Me? ” Even though winter is fast approaching, we here at eil.com all certainly Wish You Were Here to help us eat our remaining Halloween candy! Happy November, everyone!

Executive Produced by Sir Elton John and with Ringo Starr guest-drumming, we are happy to offer you the American limited edition double CD album set for Make Believe , which includes a 12-track bonus disc of “lost” rarities. If it’s still Eurythmics you crave, it’s fantastic to feel 17 Again , and dance to your heart’s content. I have had several emails from Enya fans, asking if we will be re-stocking her new US-Only Christmas EP -- Sounds Of The Season -- which features four all-new holiday recordings. I am pleased to report that although our initial supply sold out in mere hours, plenty more should be hitting our site early on Friday, 3 November – so until then, it’s Only Time !

Michael Cambridge - UK Northern Office UNITED KINGDOM Created Thu 2nd Nov '06 14:38 (GMT) Edited Thu 2nd Nov '06 14:38 (GMT)Incredible Morrissey Rarity - A true One Off!! Well if any record deserves the title of 'Rarest Record Ever' then this unbelievable item has to be in the running. This is the UNRELEASED 12" white label track that was originally scheduled to promote the flagging Sales Of The November Spawned album, a desperate and badly misinformed dance remix that Morriseey hated beyond belief and ordered all the masters and discs to be detroyed. This one survived and we can confirm it is a 100% genuine item that 'Ranks' as the ultimate for Smiths & Mozzer fans. Buy this even if you have to sell your granny, wife or sell yourself..you will never be disapointed!! [reply to this topic ]

Simon Wright - UK Chart Product & Imports UNITED KINGDOM Created Wed 1st Nov '06 12:31 (GMT) Edited Wed 1st Nov '06 12:32 (GMT)a treasure trove of TREATS
I've discovered some weird and wonderful artifacts over the past few days. Probably my favourite, is a pair of stonewash denim
JEANS designed by Yoko Ono and issued as part 'John Lennon Clothing Collection' brand new and complete with the original tags! Staying on a Beatles tip, you'll also fine a huge collection of 'Beatles Monthly' magazines issued between
1980 and
1985 .
I'd also like to highlight a wonderful example of the original 1967 Mono Version of The Rolling Stone's
AFTERMATH . This LP is in amazing condition considering it's nearly 30 years young, the vinyl shines and the sleeve is in amazing shape [the best we've seen for years!]
Finally, I've added over 200 deleted UK cd singles released over the past 10 years all at GREAT prices!

David Clynch - UK Office UNITED KINGDOM Created Wed 1st Nov '06 10:10 (GMT)In The Presence Of Greatness And while Neal was getting sweaty with the youngsters in Norwich, I settled into a nice comfy seat in London’s Barbican Concert Hall to witness an incredible one-off live performance of Serge Gainsbourg’s masterpiece ‘Histoire De Melody Nelson’ (a unique blend of super-cool snares, funky basslines, dramatic strings and choral singing) by the BBC Concert Orchestra and the Crouch End Festival Chorus, conducted by Gainsbourg’s arranger Jean-Claude Vannier, alongside a staging of Vannier’s own impossibly rare solo LP ‘ L'Enfant Assassin Des Mouches’, complete with on-stage sound effects.
Serge and Jane Birkin’s vocal parts were performed by a number of guest vocalists including Jarvis Cocker, Stereolab’s Laetitia Sadier, Badly Drawn Boy, Gruff Rhys, Brigitte Fontaine and Mick Harvey from the Bad Seeds, although the most exciting aspect of the concert for me was seeing the original ‘70s rhythm section from the ‘Melody’ sessions brought back together on stage - guitarists Big Jim Sullivan and Vic Flick, bassist Herbie Flowers, drummer Dougie Wright and keyboard player Cliff Hall (depping for the late Roger Coulam).
