Lou Reed will perform two UK concerts at the London Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday June 30th and Sunday July 1st. Tickets for the London concerts will go on sale at 9am on Friday March 16th.
The concerts are being hailed as a rare insight into one of music’s greatest minds, a labour of love and an integral part of rock history. "I only do this every 30 years," says Reed. "One time, one time only. You can tell your kids you saw Lou Reed’s Berlin."

TARDIS lands gently in late 1940s Britain.
A quick stroll into the local music store nets us some classics.
These 78RPM Shellac gems, with some performances & takes still only existing on this fragile format, may be over fifty years old but are still in fantastic condition.
When the TARDIS touched back in the 21st Century [Why was Dr Who wearing a
Palace kit ?] we discovered that we were now in possession of the OLDEST recording we've ever listed, Benny Goodman's '
Bugle Call Rag ' from 1937 - a mere SEVENTY years old!
Also we managed to pick up some more of the biggest names in Big Band Jazz, including June Christy's
FIRST release with the
Stan Kenton band which also featured a young
Art Pepper on alto,
Woody Herman ,
Benny Goodman ,
Count Basie ,
Artie Shaw & even the legendary
Fats Waller's 1939 re-work of
Honeysuckle Rose !
