Bassment Hitchin, Herts UNITED KINGDOM Created Wed 17th Feb '16 10:03 (GMT)Review: Skin Games - The Blood Rush I had never heard of this band until a friend of mine posted me some You Tube links. They are typical of the late eighties sound - quite T'Pau-ish meets early U2 with a solid rhythm, loads of guitar and a powerful female voice fronting the band. I was intrigued by what I had heard so decided to source the album. Because of its obscurity, there has never been a CD release of it but, being a big vinyl fan, this wasn't a problem for me. The production on this album is very much of its time and the songs and the style are great - the three singles from it could have been hits if they had been released earlier. Skin Games are an example of another great band that signed to a big label (Epic) who threw lots of money at them because their sound was similar to the current trends, but just missed the boat and so disappeared into the ether. That is a shame as this album is a real gem if you like 80s music.[reply to this topic ]

Was that box shipped from that house with the staircase and ad for transparent Dancer record or from another location? And where was it going? Webmaster name on this reguard is Ritchie for 2002? I don't know if that is right. Maybe his hands shows.[reply to this topic ]
