Who did Ron Caines and Nicholsen play with before East Of Ed
Ron Caines had been playing Jazz for some years in Bristol. Geoff Nicholson had also been playing in Rock/Blues bands in Bristol since the age of 15. They briefly worked together in a Soul band in the mid 1960's before starting East of Eden in 1967 with Dave Arbus. Dave had also played Trumpet in a Jazz quartet with Ron prior to East of Eden. There is a brief History of the band on our website; eastofedentheband.com
