Question to EIL: This US single, "Roll To Me" with 4 tracks that eil.com now have for sale ( at Del Amitri music "page" three in this moment ) - what MORE songs does it include? I believe there are some different around, and surely want this with Long Way Down, Scared To Live and Someone Else - and no other.

German-only STEREO 14-track vinyl compilation LP, manufactured by
Hit-Ton Schallplatten for subscribers to 'Neue Revue' magazine's
record club, housed in a front laminated picture sleeve with a great
colour cover photograph of the klassic Kinks line-up. The sleeve has a
small amount of sticker damage on the reverse, but is in otherwise
excellent condition [particularly given the thin paper stock used], with

Review: Hi Allister, glad to hear that all our hard work searching for these mint gems is appreciated. I agree with you that they should have followed up 'Feelgood' with an album of this quality, and although I do like the Corabi Crue album a lot, the orginals are always the best.

What a week.... On a personal level I have been beset with family illness and dogs having fits, the weather has been terrible and my house move goes further back as time moves on. As far as work is concerned it's been good - a trip to a Toy Fair [and I get paid for this too] unearthed a great looking Beatles interactive DVD which should be ready for late Summer - more details as soon as I get them - along with possible links for some very hard-to-get Japanese figures and maybe an Esprit Exclusive item or two which I need to chase up - you will definitely hear more about these projects as and when I get a move on them. I also spent a day digging about in a t-shirt warehouse, and emerged with six boxes of stock, including shirts from a range of artists from Annie Lennox, Metallica, McFly and The Specials, plus a few Guns N Roses tour shirts and a superb 1994 Pink Floyd tour shirt - packed in 94 and has been sitting on the shelf ever since - you won't find another in such great condition. Keep your eyes peeled for my latests adds or just keep updating the t-shirt section on the merchandise click-through on the front page. Have a good weekend.....

1957 Playboy Jazz Poll Allstars Record and cover in very good shape. I was thrilled to have finally been able to replaced the original record I purchased from Playboy in 1958. The recording of "Pilgram's Progress" on this album by Dave Brubeck is the only recording of it. It was never put on any other album. It was written for Jane Pilgrim the first Playboy playmate. It is a classic. I asked Dave Brubeck at a concert at the University of Pittsburgh if he would play it. He just laughed and said "Wow...you must really be a fan" He didn't play it so if anyone wants to hear it you have to play this album.

Review: I bought this mainly out of my interest for Roxette - after having bought "Baladas en español" from here, I've got everything that the Swedish duo released in their career. But I honestly have to say that I'm not disappointed at all - on the contrary, I'm very satisfied, and I discovered that Ms. Fredriksson is also a very good songwriter in addition to be a great performer (but I already knew that!) So, on an overall scale, I think this item is a very, very nice one, and may be a welcome addition to the record collection of all Roxette fans! There's only one thing on here which I really hate - that stupid Copy Protection mechanism. It's useless as it's so easy to eschew [I won't tell how-to here, but it's easy! :-)], and the only thing it does is making the CD jump every now and then when I play it on my car's CD player. Oh, what the heck - I'll play it at home. ;-)

Review: Hey, the cover is wrong for this - it's Marie Fredrikkson, not Girls Aloud. :-D
Apart from this - I don't understand a word of Swedish, but I just love Marie's voice. And I love to hear it in her mother tongue. Also, many of the songs, although old (60s and 70s I think), sound wonderful even today.

Different Mix! Well worth seeking this out. To all intents and purposes, it looks exactly like the released 45 ( .. even down to sharing the same cat.no.), however .. it's a different mix. The vocals aren't buried .. the bass is more prominent .. and it sounds like a wider stereo mix to boot! The only physical difference to tell it apart from the released 45, is a 'A' stamped in the middle and the familiar: 'For Promotional Purpose Only'.

Zepplin "The 10 Legendary Singles" 45RPM Box Set. I recently went to an estate sale and bought a boxed set of LED Zepplin called "The 10 Legendary Singles" it is a set of 10 45's all with a different single on there. The set includes "hey hey what can I do" on it Can anybody tell me what this set may be worth. All the records look like they have never been played. I also got the Hey Hey What can I do 45 in a black and red Atlantic sticker with Asain writing on it.
