 Blimey, i've only gone and struck lucky in the draw for the Radio 1 Big Weekend shindig at nearby Maidstone when her Royal Madgeness is performing. Result.
Wonder if they'll be giving away any of the promotional lollipops or sweetie packs that have been doing the rounds...
On to sporting matters and apart from the obvious (come on Palace), this weekend will see the climax of the World Snooker Championships and riveting stuff it's been as well, from the flawed genius that is Ronnie O'Sullivan to the spotty little herberts i've never heard of who barely look old enough to pick up a cue.

has anyone ever come across the sandstone pyramid box before? have seen a laminated black one in the catalogue but cant find a sandstone one on the web anywhere, they were limited to 2000 and im trying to suss a rough value of mine.

my wife has this album "led zeppelin" the first album they released and printed in germany , the odd thing about this one is it has side 1 on both sides of the vinyl and one of the tracks is misspealt the track shows "dazaed and confused"

I believe I have a genuine Knebworth shirt, while Bonzo was still alive and kicking.... Having a good clearout of shirts, as we're going to be moving in the near future and Mrs Wolf wants some room in the wardrobe drawers for HER clothes, I need to know if it's real before I bung it on FleaBay as I don't want to rip anyone off saying it's real when it isn't....
First post, but I'll be fairly active on the Magnum (my fave band of all time) section no doubt....

I just recently recived this DVD, its got a picture of 1993? Eddie on the cover, with Sammy Hagar jumping int he background, with the entire DVD consisting of Dave era tunes from the US Festival in 83. Now...All of the songs except 2, were butchered so badly and edited so unprofessionaly that it even went so bad as to the sound was Runnin' with the Devil and you can clearly see the video is Jaimie's Cryn'. Norwegian band , Savoy are most likely to be relatively unknown to most people in the UK but one of their members is far from obscure: Paul Waaktaar-Savoy is the man responsible for young women fainting en masse in the late 80s and early 90s. He's a member of the global super-hit Scandinavian band A-ha and penned some of their biggest The Norwegian born songwriter's band are made up of his wife; American filmmaker Lauren Savoy [guitar and vocals], Frode Unneland [drums] and Paul himself who leads the band on vocals and guitar as well as composing the songs with his wife.
Savoy have always only been able to be a side project for Paul as the demands of recording and touring with a band like A-ha were always very restrictive. In fact Savoy have never actually been out on tour as they don't have the time. Despite this, the band enjoyed considerable success in their home country selling more than 300,000 records with a career that spans more than a decade. This new release is a collection of their best songs reworked, plus some new ones. Savoy will be playing the Royal Albert Hall on May 24th alongside a-ha band members Magne F and Morten Harket who will also play solo slots that night.

I have recently been catching up on the massive backlog of CD's to play, including gems from one of the most underated bands of the last 20 years Killing Joke with their 2008 remasters of classic albums. This along with constant favourites David Sylvian and trips down memory lane to my goth past with The Mission and Sisters Of Mercy keeps me from getting bored.
Todays rant is those Eco-Fascists in local councils who prosecute householders up to £300 for leaving their plastic bin lids 6 inches open. With fly-tipping fines at £80 what message does that send - More and more we are being Governed by Morons!!.
