I see this old chestnut is up for grabs again this time at a price of 175GBP. May I suggest that you read my review of it on this site before parting with your hard-earned. Even as a committed and loyal Doors fan since 1968, I found the quality absolutely terrible both in sound, value and attention to detail. Personally I think that I should be committed for buying it new in 2008 for 100GBP but there's fandom for you - gotta have every last thing the record company (or in this case Rhino) puts out to grab your bread. | [reply to this topic] |

I recently came about a very similar jacket in almost all respects, with an embroidered logo on the breast with the tongue logo, a labatt's blue logo and the steel wheels logo beneath the text "labatt's blue presents" "rolling stones canada" and was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it? zip pockets, left zip breast pocket, popper fastening money/plectrum

bottom. Each popper has the 'Steel Wheels' logo and the zips all have
a superb tongue logo on the zips tags. On the left arm is a patch with
two US flags either side the 'Steel Wheels' logo, on the inside is the original 'Rolling Stones' label, size extra large) *** Shows light evidence of wear - it came from a crew-member after all and actually saw action on the tour...! ***

I have recently aquired an LP entitled Diana Ross and the Supremes join the temptations.
The strange thing about the album is that it is on a record label i have never heard of, DEER Records catalogue number LCK 4019, i have searched the internet and cant find any article/page about this record company or the record in question being on this record label.
Do you think its of any value, or is it just a bootleg copy of the album? there is no country of manufacture on the album but it does look like the american pressings where you get no date on the label.
Any info on this would be helpful

I found that the vinyl version and the CD-box version use the same (re)master. They both have a tiny little glitch in the sound (like a little skip) in two songs in exactly the same spot. The songs are 'Waiting for the man' and 'All tomorrow's parties'. Both the new LP and the CD are perfectly listenable with these little mistakes, but does anybody know of a Stereo version that doesn't have them?
