A veritable who's who of luminaries from the UK music scene has already pledged their support and involvement with Gibson Guitartown London's summer spectacular.  Legendary artists long associated with the electric guitar including Gary Moore, Motorhead, Paul Rodgers, Robert Plant, Mark Knopfler and Ozzy Osbourne, plus a stellar cast of the guitar heroes of tomorrow including Hard-Fi, Dirty Pretty Things, KT Tunstall, The Magic Numbers and Kaiser Chiefs have all stepped up to the mark to raise money for the three chosen charities: The Princes Trust, Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and Teenage Cancer Trust.

For ten weeks from the 28th June 2007, Gibson Guitartown London will transform the area surrounding More London (by Tower Bridge, SE1) as thirty 10-foot free standing fibreglass Gibson Les Paul guitars creatively designed and hand painted by visual artists ranging from established artists such as Sir Peter Blake, Gerald Scarfe and Andrew Logan to competition winners, go on public display.  Each guitar will be signed by the associated musician to authenticate and endorse their own individual guitar.  Additionally thirty regular sized Gibson hand painted Gibson SG's will be on display at The O2 in Greenwich, only a short tube or boat ride from the More London display. 

Following the ten week free exhibition, all the guitars will be auctioned off at a special star-studded event in September, with all the proceeds raised being split equally between the three associated charities.
