promotional-only lined bronze satin popper fastening fronted bomber
jacket with elastic collar, cuffs & bottom. This Jacket is from the
American part of the 1983 World Tour to promote the 'Money and
Cigarettes' album. Embroidered on the front left breast is a yellow
'Camel' cigarette company logo [who sponsored the tour],
embroidered on the back is a large yellow 'Camel' logo along with
'Eric Clapton' in light green and 'American Tour 1983' in light blue. A truly stunning and unique early piece of memorabilia and only looks to have been worn only a few times and shows very few signs of age - size large)

This isnt really a question about this item, however..... i have a copy of the killing in the name 12" white limited edition vinyl by Rage Against The Machine. The sleeve states that the 2 tracks on the b side are " darkness of greed" and " clear the lane", but in fact it has two songs by the band "Living Color", one of the tracks is "ignorance is bliss", not sure what the other one is called. I am trying to find out if there are any other copies like this, ie a certain amount or is it a one off, i have tried contacting sony records but had no response. i was looking to sell this but didnt know how much due to the b side. distributed to radio & media for Christmas 1993, long before their
Supersonic debut single was released in April'94. This is the genuine
original first issue, with correct matrix number CTP8A and DAMONT
AUDIO L.T.D. etching. Housed inside its original black sleeve complete
with the even rarer hype sticker. This copy has remained in
hibernation since itwas created; it is genuinely MINT & UNPLAYED. A
superb and rarely seen collectable that is one of the top OASIS
rarities, and historically it is the first vinyl release ever to bear their

this is a superb item, it'll be one of my most prized possessins. It's beautifully manufactured ansthe sound quality is excellent, an improvement over my original copy, which is just about worn out.
The Doors were a very undr-rated band, a group of superb musiciand who worked hard together to achieve results. You can hear this if you listen well enough. Robbie Kreiger's guitar work is exceptional, full of vitality and fire.
Riders on the Storm is one of the best listening experiences you can get.

Having been a Marc Almond fan from the very early 80,s i collect everything available on him. The songs on this Sampler are exactly the same as the Album versions so you would have to be a hard core fan to buy something like this. It would probably be of no interest to a general listener where the Album would surfice. A great unique item for any serious collector of Marc Almond plus it is becoming very difficult to obtain which makes it a rare gem. A must have for any hard core fan. | [reply to this topic] |

The Family (1985) is one of the earliest Paisley Park releases. To this second, it remains one of my favorites. The album's eight songs range from funky jams peppered with Jerome Benton's trademark holler-style vocals to more stylized midtempo songs. The highlights are the lead single, "The Screams Of Passion", the too funky JB's-esque instrumental "Yes" and the original studio rendering of "Nothing Compares 2 U" featuring an exquisite orchestral arrangement by the legendary Clare Fischer. Anyone who's into the sounds that sprung from Prince's creative well during the '80's will surely love this album. | [reply to this topic] |
