Bored with the same old music ? Fed up with that constant Boom-boom-boom through your botty as you drive to work ? Had enough of those endless 'widdly-widdly-weeee' guitar solos ?
I have my personal solution !!
Get some Sex appeal, impress your friends with some sensitive lady-horn blowing, get your head round the 'tits lick' !
Jap gothic visual rock!
Seriously I expect the time will be coming for eil to set up the collectors store for this kind of music in near future....

was the hilarious phrase on Blockbusters many moons ago and today's playlist letter has so far been rather poor with predictable efforts from the likes of Pink Floyd and Prince. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Peter Fenton - North American Office USA Created Fri 1st Feb '08 22:55 (GMT) Edited Sat 1st Mar '08 03:51 (GMT) Edited 10 times | | February Jams and Pearls of Wisdom
Hi Everyone. February... ALREADY?? January was a bit of a blur for me -- too much work, too much coffee, and not enough time to sleep. February is starting out quite the same, but that means MORE rare records, MORE cool CD's, and MORE interesting memorabilia to send out into the world. It seems that there's still as much a demand for PEARL JAM rarities today as there was 10 years ago. Their fans are loyal and true! This week I was able to secure a few copies of the six most coveted, official Pearl Jam fanclub-only releases: [reply to this topic] |

Mark Evetts - UK Buyer UNITED KINGDOM Created Fri 1st Feb '08 14:48 (GMT) | | This is the BBC...
and for your televisual pleasure tonight, there are some cool musical choices.
On BBC 2 there's the 200th edition of Later with Jools Holland which includes a performance from Radiohead (which reminds me that i really must get round to playing the new 'In Rainbows' album from my £40.00 box set) amongst others.
Seems a decent chap does Jools if a tad irritating at times. My favourite story about him/the show is when the legendary Fall appeared on the programme only after it was agreed in their contract that the host would not be allowed to play any 'boogie-woogie piano' during their set!
Mark E Smith strikes again...
On BBC 4 for the more refined amongst you, there's a night dedicated to jazz, featuring pianist Oscar Peterson and acclaimed trumpeter turned radio host Humphrey Lyttleton. | [reply to this topic] |

Carole Manchester, Lancashire UNITED KINGDOM Created Fri 1st Feb '08 12:56 (GMT) | | Allan Clarke-The Only One Happy New Year One of my friends has this album and thinks that it is brilliant so i am checking out the website with a view to purchase.I dont know if Alan reads this site but i would like to wish him and his family a happy new year and hope that everything is going well.As a massive Hollies fan (Clarkey)period i just want to say that you have one of the most distinctive voices and i was saddened when you retired from The Hollies in 2000.At the moment i am purchasing Hollies albums that i had not got round to buying and every one just blows me away.I have been looking for an Allan Clarke website for ages to send a message so this one is ideal.Anyway keep on with the music Allan,God Bless and stay cool.Carole x. | [reply to this topic] |

Richard Austin - UK Office UNITED KINGDOM Created Thu 31st Jan '08 19:19 (GMT) Edited Thu 31st Jan '08 19:19 (GMT) | | If there is one thing worse than being spinning drunk ...
... it's feeling the same but without having had the pleasure of several pint of foaming ale first.
Still, stiff upper lip & on with the show. At my age it's probably the best I can hope for.
Today's letter was 'S' - a nice & easy choice but somehow most of the CDs I supplied for aural delectation remained unplayed. Still, we had some Sonic Youth which was fun & Skids & The Smiths which were OK. I myself managed to warp back to 1973 & ended up playing Slayed? & Next by the Sensational Alex Harvey Band.
I must confess that when everyone had gone, I declared 'S' complete & played the new Tom Palmer CD - well, it does feature all of Show Of Hands, so it's not as much of a departure as Julian playing All About Eve on 'E' day !!!

My elbow hurts which is rather ironic after attending a first aid course last Friday. Still, mustn't grumble... although i will cos it's getting on my nerves now.
Right, i was going to tell you about the rather collectable Amy Winehouse 'Back To Black - The Album Remixes' promotional 2-CD set but they've all gone so look out instead for some rather nifty Mobile Fidelity/ audiophile vinyl being added in the near future including a lovely Earl Klugh UHQR box set.
