JON LORD Windows (50th Anniversary 2025 UK/EU
limited edition LP pressed on Orange Crush Vinyl. A bold fusion
of progressive rock and orchestral grandeur, Jon Lord's
Windows returns for its 50th anniversary. Originally recorded
live in Munich in 1974, Windows showcases Jon Lord -
the legendary Deep Purple co-founder-collaborating with
German conductor and composer Eberhard Schoener to create
a stunning hybrid of symphonic rock andmodernist classical
composition. Side A features "Continuo on B.A.C.H.", an
imaginative expansion of Johann Sebastian Bach's unfinished
triple fugue from The Art of the Fugue. Side B presents the
three-part suite "Window", blending rock instrumentation with
orchestral textures, performed by an elite lineup of soloists
including David Coverdale (Deep Purple, Whitesnake),
Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath), Ray Fenwick, and
Tony Ashton, alongside Lord himself. To celebrate its
milestone anniversary, Windows is now reissued on limited
edition Orange Crush vinyl, featuring the original artwork, via
Dark Horse Records. Gatefold picture sleeve with hype
