It has been cut for an all-analogue release by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios, pressed on 180-gram vinyl, with each sleeve individually gold-foil block numbered from a worldwide edition of 1,000 copies. Formed in the late 1960s, Leaf Hound built a reputation on raw, blues-driven playing, fuzz-heavy guitar tones and Peter French's forceful vocal delivery, work that helped shape the heavier end of early hard rock and fed directly into what would later become stoner rock. Their 1971 album Growers of Mushroom is widely considered their defining statement, recorded with minimal studio polish to preserve the band's live energy intact.
