THE SUPREMES Meet The Supremes (Very rare 1962 US issue 11-track vinyl LP housed in the original 'Stool Cover' pasted picture sleeve. An historic album released just as the group were about to break big; Let Me Go The Right Way and Time Changes Things having been recently released as a single, were last minute additions to the LP and are not listed on the back cover [although they are on the label]. Also, The Boy That Got Away, listed as track 2 on Side 2 on the back cover was removed. The 'Stool' image on the sleeve was also discarded with subsequent reissues in both the UK and US both having completely different sleeve designs. This is the only album by the group that features lead vocal performances from Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard and is an underated gem in their [and Motown's] catalogue. The sleeve is graded Very Good with some minor edge scuffing/corner bump and a little discolouration to the rear panel, the vinyl grades Excellent with light play only - A wonderful slice of music history that comes highly recommended MT606).
