Films</B> opens a new archive series with <I>The Curse Of
Frankenstein</I>, a landmark soundtrack release built
around music from the film that established the studio's
gothic horror identityon screen. Written, orchestrated and
recorded by <B>James Bernard</B> in 1957, the score
introduced the dramatic tension, menace and sweep that
would become central to Hammer's sound. This special 2 x 7"
set is pressed on <span
style="color:#B0BF1A"><b>Translucent Green
Vinyl</b></span> and presented in deluxe gatefold picture
sleeve with an insert. While the original session tapes are no
longer known to survive, around 13 minutes of music were
recovered during Hammer's 2025 4K restoration from the
original mixed music-and-effects track. That restoration work
forms the basis of this release, issued on vinyl for the first
time and arranged as four suites across two 45RPM 7"
