Originally released in 2007, Security is the fourth studio album from the Brooklyn-based Afrobeat ensemble, whose horn-led arrangements and rhythm-driven intensity draw clear lineage from Fela Kuti while maintaining a distinct contemporary voice. Co-produced by the band with John McEntire of Tortoise, the album balances extended groove structures with politically conscious themes and tightly layered instrumentation. Housed inside an individually silver foil numbered gatefold picture sleeve plus hype sticker. Limited to only 500 copies).
