Stripping back the raw political edge of their debut in favour
of funkier rhythms and a more personal lyrical focus, the
band introduced synths and horns to expand their sound -
moving confidently into dance-punk, cabaret swing, and
experimental art-pop. Tracks like "Instant Touch," "Tongue in
Cheek," and the kaleidoscopic "That's When It's Worth It"
showcased a fearless evolution in both style and substance.
Though it only briefly charted in the UK, the album is now
rightly recognised as a classic of the genre, celebrated for its
intelligent commentary on sex and gender politics wrapped in
adventurous post-punk. This edition is pressed on 180-gram
