KING CRIMSON The Complete 1969 Recordings (2020 UK Deluxe
Limited Edition TWENTY SIX DISC Box Set, comprising multiple
versions of their landmark debut album with multiple live recordings
from the era across TWENTY CDs, FOUR Blu-Ray discs, oneDVD-Audio
& one DVD disc. Includes a new Dolby Atmos mix of the album by
Steven Wilson, six CDs worth of session material on CD & Blu-Ray for
the first time [fully mixed by David Singleton], a further disc of newly
compiled studio material, the box also includes the original studio
album, every alternate take known to exist, every mix known to exist,
all live recordings known to exist & a selection of pre-Crimson 1968
recordings. All twenty-six discs come housed inside specially designed
fold-out gatefold sleeves inside a fully glossed & deluxe 12" box
displaying meticulously restored artwork from the original iconic
design derived from 2019 scans of the original paintings complete with
an exclusive booklet featuring an introduction by Robert Fripp, notes
about the source tapes from David Singleton, liner-notes by King
Crimson biographer Sid Smith, previously unseen photos from the
recordings sessions, additional memorabilia & a protective outer
sleeve. The packaging is in Excellent (light scuffs to outer slipcase)
and the contents are Near Mint KCCBX9111).
