THE BEATLES The Beatles / Roy Orbison (Rare 1963 16-page tour
programme for the second half of their third UK tour. When the tour
started, the programmes had a picture of Roy Orbison on the front,
being his first UK tour, but within a short while the rising popularity of
The Beatles promoted them to co-headliners. Also appearing on the
bill were Gerry and the Pacemakers, David Macbeth, Louise Cordet,
Tony Marsh, Terry Young Six, Erkey Grant and Ian Crawford. Apart
from a few scuffs tothe front, the programme shows very little wear
and only the lightest few creases from handling, with the content and
photographs clean and free from writing. A wonderful item from the
very moment when Beatlemania started to happen).
