RAVI SHANKAR Raga (1971 Japanese 13-track stereo LP on
Apple manufactured by Toshiba, featuring Ravi's incredible music
from the documentary film based on his life & work, produced by
George Harrison - a project that led directly to George & Ravi
staging the Concert for Bangladesh in August 1971. Housed in a
simply stunning deluxe gatefold picture sleeve, which is pasted,
fully textured, this edition is complete with the jet black die-cut
inner, a beautiful 16-page illustrated bookletin English, a
Japanese translated insert & shaped obi-strip with '¥2,200' price
point sticker over the original price point. The packaging & its
contents show very little of their age or origin. The delicate
shaped Apple obi revealing just a mild crease on the logo at the
top but is otherwise complete. The vinyl is in sparkling near 'as
new' condition AP-80433).
