The Artwoods Art Gallery - 1st UK vinyl LP album (LP record)

Tracklisting / Additional Info: |
Condition:-
Sleeve:- The front laminated picture sleeve is in nice condition. The sleeve has a small amount of laminate lift along the spine. The non-laminated back is free from writing and has some light ringwear the edges and some general wear, nothing too excessive and still looks fantastic. The original poly inner is enclosed, which also remains in a nice condition. This is firmly an Excellent example of this rare Decca sleeve that deserves framing!
Labels & Vinyl:- The labels have no tears or writing. There are just a few light spindle marks around the centre hole to show light play. The matrices are machine stamped in the run-outs & both end '1A'. The vinyl has a deep sheen both sides & is a high-quality deep groove pressing by Decca. Play testing reveals superb sound clarity & rich sonics on its intended mono setting. This record is so difficult to find, even when Decca's pressing plant, in theory being a mere hour's drive from us here, we have only ever seen two other copis. This album must have sold very poorly on release with any copies left in circulation quickly ending up in private collections & with most finding their way abroad it seems. Any copies left of this album that appear on the market will have been played in to some degree. The vinyl here is nice & clean both sides. It's as good as a collector could hope for with this very rare Decca original & deserves to command its price on the collector's scene. Recommended!
Tracklist:- 01. Can You Hear Me? 02. Down in the Valley 03. Things Get Better 04. Walk on the Wild Side 05. I Keep Forgettin' 06. I Keep Lookin' 07. One More Heartache 08. Work, Work, Work 09. Be My Lady 10. If You Gotta Make a Fool of Somebody 11. Stop and Think It Over 12. Don't Cry No More
