This German pressing appears to use UK style labels with English perimeter print but with a very different style label print and 'GEMA' box.
The sleeve is printed in the UK but the poster (and possibly the photographs) are printed in Germany.
The fully laminated, top opening, internal flipback picture sleeve is in great condition. 'No. 0331515' is stamped onto the front of the sleeve with 'The BEATLES' embossed. The back of the sleeve is plain except for the word 'Stereo' lightly printed in grey.
The laminate is crisp and clean with only light wear to the corners.
This white sleeve, notorious for yellowing, shows only mild discolouration, and is more ivory than pure white and remains one of the best copies we've seen in a very long time.
Included are the four portraits which are in superb condition. They have no pin-holes, as so many copies do. Also included is the large fold-out double sided colour lyric poster which also remains unused. This has 'Printed And Made In Germany by Heinrich Nicolaus G.m.b.H.' text.
The matrix numbers are machine stamped into the dead vinyl, they are as follows:

Side Two YEX 710-1
Side Three YEX 711-1
Side Four YEX 712-1
The vinyl remains in Excellent condition with few signs of play.
There has been much debate as to the 'best' sounding Stereo press of this album and, while always subjective, this pressing is continually mentioned as being one of the best available & is the first copy that we have ever had.
