Tracklisting / Additional Info: |
More details Capitol issued stereo compact 33 7" EPs for jukebox play only and not for a commercial market.
These 7 inch records had a small center hole (solid center) and played at 33 1/3 r.p.m.
The sleeve was mande from a thick card, which had reproduction of the album cover on the front and a blank white back side.
They were originally packaged with three miniature paper covers measuring 1¼" square and five blue title strip (plastic sheet) with a header strip listing the Capitol record number and the Seeburg part number, packaged in a loosely fitting poly-bag.
Manufactured by Capitol's Scranton factory, the labels are a black design with an outer rainbow rim colorband and the Capitol logo at the bottom.
With the matrices:
Side A. SXA - 1 - 2047 - A1 Side B. SXA - 2 - 2047 - A1
Both with the 'AIM' triangular logo.
Condition Like most LPs manufactured in America during the 1960s, the consisted of two bits of card with a paper coating/pasting joining them together usually with either front or back print, then with either a front or back image or tracklisting pasted over, to seal it all together. This meant that the very edges were always the weakest part of the sleeve, this example has a minor split at the top from the open top right corner, and a couple of small splits along the bottom edge.
The front pasted image has some light ring wear and a light crease to the top & bottom right corners, the plain back is actually still very clean with just a little age discolouration.
The labels remain very clean, free from any writing and has very little signs of marks around the spindle holes.
The all-important vinyl too remains very clean, with only a couple of very, very light signs of play.
This example, as already mentioned in the main description, includes one of the rarly seen blue plastic 'Seeburg' jukebox tags.
Although not mint, this is still a really nice example of this hard to find pressing, and the first we have ever seen.
Tracklisting Side A 1. It Won't Be Long 2. This Boy 3. All My Loving
Side B 1. Don't Bother Me 2. All I've Got To Do 3. I Wanna Be Your Man
