RAINBOW Monsters Of Rock (1980 UK 16-page unofficial programme
for the Monsters Of Rock festival on 16th August, held at Donington
Park motor racing circuit at Castle Donington in Leicestershire. This
was the very first festival on the site with a line-up that consisted of a
mix of British and international hard rockers and heavy metal bands
including Judas Priest, Scorpions, April Wine, Saxon, Riot, Touch and
Running Wild, with 35,000 people attending. The programme features
pagesdedicated to Rainbow, Judas Priest, Scorpions and Saxon
including some great black & white photographs).
