RAVI SHANKAR Raga (1971 Japanese 13-track stereo LP on Apple
manufactured by Toshiba, featuring Ravi's incredible music from the
documentary film based on his life & work, produced by George
Harrison - a project that led directly to George & Ravi staging the
Concert for Bangladesh in August 1971. Housed in a simply stunning
deluxe gatefold picture sleeve, which is pasted, fully textured & in near
mint condition, this edition is complete with the jet black die-cut inner,
a beautiful16-page illustrated booklet in English, a Japanese translated
insert & both the thin shaped obi-strip & bonus hype obi for Japanese
customers. The packaging & its contents show very little of their age or
origin. Both obi's are ever so delicate but remain perfectly intact, with
the shaped Apple obi revealing just a mild crease mark on the back.
The vinyl is in sparkling near 'as new' condition AP-80433).
