BILL WYMAN'S RHYTHM KINGS Pages From Autograph Books
(Twelve 5" by 4" pages from autograph books that were part
of an extensive collection obtained by the wife of a former
Assistant Tour Manager for Eric Clapton. Well known and a
personal friend of many of the stars that she collected
autographs from, she had unprecedented access to backstage
areas and VIP Events that enabled her to amass a vast
collection of autographs with consequent impeccable
provenance. These particular autographs were obtained on
between 2002 & 2006 at various venues and are nice
unhurried examples with each autograph on a separate page,
featuring the signatures of Bill Wyman, Terry Taylor, Graham
Broad, Andy Fairweather-Lowe, Max Middleton, Chris Stainton,
Ray Cooper, Mike Sanchez, Eddie Floyd, Hamish Stuart, Henry
Spinetti & Beverley Skeet, with two dedicated)

Signatures were obtained by Yuki Smythe-Park. For many years Yuki's husband Colin, was Eric Clapton's assistant tour manager, working on many of his 1980s concerts & tours. On August 26th 1990, Clapton played the Alpine Valley Music Theatre, Wisconsin, alongside Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Robert Cray and Buddy Guy. Following the show Colin Smythe, along with Clapton's agent Bobby Brooks, his bodyguard Nigel Browne and Stevie Ray Vaughan boarded a helicopter bound for Chicago. Tragically, the helicopter crashed shortly after take-off, killing all on board. Yuki was friends with many artists from that era and continued to attend gigs and fill her numerous autograph books. These signatures were obtained in person by Yuki.
