Information
Originally released in 1964, this issue was pressed in 1969 at the time where stereo was the in thing and mono releases were the harder sell.
This issue was only available in the shops between late summer and November period of 1969 before it was withdrawn and the new style EMI one box record labels were introduced. This is the last mono pressing with the black & yellow label design & without the 'Sold In UK' text.
Matrix numbers
Side 1: XEX 481-3N
Side 2: XEX 482-3N
As mentioned above this comes in a front laminated flipback picture sleeve manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd with PMC 1230 catalogue number and small block mono text in the top right corner, including the correct EMI company advert inner.
Condition
The sleeve is graded as Near Mint and still has the price written in crayon on the top flipback, which can easily be removed if so desired.
Aside from one very faint spindle mark to one label (a once-played copy perhaps?), there is no evidence of play to the vinyl leaving it Near Mint.
All in all fabulous copy of this near impossible to find rare edition in impossible to find rare condition!
