THELONIOUS MONK TRIOS Monk's Moods (Original 1961 UK Esquire issue 10-track mono LP, comprised of three separate sessions. The first four numbers were taped on October 15th, 1952 with Monk alongside Gary Mapp [bass] and Art Blakey [drums], thelast four with Max Roach on drums in place of Blakey ('Blue Monk' and 'Just A Gigolo' recorded two years later), picture sleeve variant, front laminated flipback sleeve. The sleeve shows some noticable laminate creasing and ring/shelfwear especially to the reverse but nothing drastic, whilst the vinyl displays minimal signs of play. All in all, a superb copy of this 60+ year old classic).
