any Beach Boys fan, capturing the last time that all 6 members of the
Beach Boys – Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Al
Jardine and Bruce Johnston would appear together, singing and
playing, on a UK stage. Also includes 'The Beach Boys On The Beach
Boys Songs', contemporary comments from the band on some of the
songs performed at Knebworth. Disc 2 ['Good Vibrations', Dolby
Digital 5.1] features a 1976 US TV Special, combining full live
performances of their greatest hits from the Anaheim Stadium with
band interviews and wonderful personal sequences, while disc 3
['Endless Harmony', Dolby Digital Stereo] combines exclusive
interviews with Brian & Carl Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine and Bruce
Johnston with the band’s own archive footage and rarely heard tracks,
giving a real insight into both the success and the sadness of The
Beach Boys. There are also contributions from many who worked with
the band or were inspired by them including Maurice Gibb, Elvis
Costello, Glenn Frey, Jackson Browne, Carol Kaye and Glen Campbell.
