This 1968 single was pressed in the UK for export only on the black and silver Parlophone label - in the UK itself 'Hey Jude' appeared as the band's first single release on the newly-formed Apple label. Apart from the type of catalogue number used (DP570) the label is identical in every respect to other UK Parlophone pressings of the time with 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd.' perimeter text, right down to a 'KT' tax code on the intact push-out centre.
The picture sleeve features a colour photograph of the band taken during the filming of the 'Paperback Writer' and 'Rain' promo films at Abbey Road in May 1966, with a psychedelic-style orange logo above and a Swedish language article on the band printed on the reverse.
The sleeve colours remain bright and unfaded with sharp print. No writing, rips or tears.
The vinyl is in superb EX/EX+ condition with just a few light spindle marks around the centre hole to indicate play.
