This concert was part of the bands 2nd UK tour, a tour which was originally to be headlined by Chris Montez and Tommy Roe, however after the first night of the tour on March 9th The Beatles became the headliners. This was because the single Please Please Me was enjoying it's 3rd week at number one and though the release of the debut album of the same name was still 2 weeks away, it was clear that Beatlemania was about to errupt!
The tour lasted from 9th March to 31st (21 shows) and featured the following acts.

'America's Fabulous' Tommy Roe
The Viscounts
Terry Young Six
'Glamourous' Debbie Lee
and
'Your 208 DJ' Tony Marsh
The handbill measures approximately 9" x 5.5" it is printed on a cream coloured paper (though this could be age) with red text. The venue details and times of both performaces are printed at the top with the proclaimation 'One Night Only' beneath it. Below are images and names of the various performers with The Beatles at the bottom. The prices 4/6 6/6 8/6 are below the artist info. At the very bottom of the page is a dotted line where the original booking form would have been had it not been removed 43 years previously by some eager teenage fan.
The overall condition is superb. There are four miniscule pinholes in each of the four corners and a 2.5" tape mark at the very top of the for which does not affect any of the text whatsoever and could be trimmed. The tape however reinforces the fact that this is a genuine piece of musical history from the birth of Beatlemania.
