The Pet Shop Boys first produced an interview CD for their 1996 album Bilingual. Since then they have produced one for almost every subsequent album, the latest being for their much-anticipated and highly acclaimed record, Fundamental.
This exclusive promotional CD has 18 audio cuts, essentially Neil and Chris answering questions, for radio producers to use to make up a programme or feature. As usual the picture sleeve contains the full question cues printed inside, with timings and intro & outro cues.
During the interview Neil and Chris deliver both frank and insightful comments and describe some of their thoughts and beliefs behind all 12 songs on the album, as well as their reasons for choosing to work again with legendary producer Trevor Horn.
