For a thirty five year old paper goods item, the quality of this is stunning.
The typed pages themselves are free from any marks, with sharp corners & no creasing or staining and looks like they was printed yesterday.
All printing is bright & sharp & the text is unblurred.
The seven sheets detail the rebuilding works at 3 Savile Row to incorporate the basement studio.
They list in detail the people & companies involved in the development & construction, then go on to describe how the work was done & the difficulties of 'floating' 3 Savile Row in the air to build the studio.
The eighteen months of research led to the building of not only the recording studio, but also a special natural reverb room & full disc cutting facilities with a mastering suite which was designed to cater for mono, stereo or quadraphonic recordings.
The sheets also detail the costs of rebuilding, the fittings, the recording & cutting machines & other equipment, along with a list of the facility rooms that are yours to hire.
The last two pages detail the costs of the various services tht the studio can provide.
So, in 1971, it would have cost you £37 an hour to record to 16 track, £29 an hour to mix to stereo then £12 to cut a 12" master!
The folder itself is similar in design to the 'Words From Apple' folder except that the peeling Apple design on the front spells 'Studios' instead. Inside the folder there is the Savile Row address on one flap & the Leslie Perrin Assocites Ltd address & telephone number on the other.
There is a slight indentation on the front & back cover caused by the staple that holds the seven information sheets together, but that's IT as regards blemishes !!
This in a fantastic item in amazing MINT condition & we can confidently say that you will not find better than this!
