This A4 sized double sided press release was produced in 1969 to announce to the world that Zapple was here. Apple had had a baby.
It is printed on high quality 'Zapple' headed notepaper with '3 Saville Row' text at the bottom.
The press release itself continues in much the same vein as it starts & goes on to mention future artists planned for the label, such as Ken Kesey, Richard Brautigan, Lenny Bruce, Lord Buchley [sic], Allen Ginsberg 'to name a few' - none of whom actually made it to release!
Then follows a breakdown of the first two Zapple releases - Unfinished Music No. 2 : Life With The Lions by John & Yoko & Electronic Sound by George - by Richard Dilello.
Don't expect it to make sense, but as a piece of Apple & Beatle history, this is unrivalled!
Condition :-
For a thirty five year old paper goods item, the quality of this is stunning.
The leaflet itself is free from any marks apart from one [apple juice ?] small 1" circular light stain, with sharp corners & no creasing or other staining and looks like it was printed yesterday.
All colours & printing are bright & sharp & the text is unblurred.
This in a fantastic item in amazing MINT condition & we can confidently say that you will not find better than this!
