The Album
The labels are white with black text and Apple logo on each side. Neither side has any spindlemarks around the centre indicating that this LP is unplayed. The vinyl is stunning having retained its original shine for over 35 years, there are no marks or scratches or any other evidence of play. The matrix numbers are stamped YEX 773 1S for side one and YEX 774 1S for side 2.
The original lyric insert is mint.
The thick card picture sleeve is also like new. It has rich colours, clean unscuffed/undamaged edges and clearly legible spine print. The Apple logo on the rear of the sleeve is RED.Catalogue number is AP-9009
Get Back Book
The book is UK printed with English text as most of the books from around the world were, it has a Toshiba sticker on the back with Japanese text. The cover remains glossy and unmarked. The pages, so commonly loose in these books, are secure. Also included inside the book is an unused sticker with copyright information regarding lyric extracts printed within the book.
The Box
The black inner tray which houses the book was badly designed and has some slight damage (tearing) to two of the corners, this is quite common as the inner tray was not substantial enough to keep the weight of the book in position, however it remains intact and uncrushed which is rare! The outer tray is also is great condition with just some minor shelf wear to one of the edges.
The shaped, Apple obi-strip is made from very thin paper stock. When new it was streched around the box and was easily split. The obi on this copy is complete but has two sellotape repairs to the back.
The hardest Let It Be box in the world to find. A real gem!
