THE SMITHS Best... II (2026 UK/EU 14-track LP pressed on black vinyl. Where Best… I leaned on The Smiths' most immediate singles, Best… II draws from the deeper corners of the catalogue, opening with "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" and "The Headmaster Ritual" before reaching "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now," one of the definitive Morrissey/Marr collaborations and among the band's most enduring songs. The collection closes on "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out," a track that has grown into arguably the band's most widely cited song in the decades since its release, alongside "Bigmouth Strikes Again" and "Still Ill" from earlier in their catalogue. First released in 1992, this compilation has been out of print for decades, and original pressings have grown correspondingly difficult to find and command high prices among collectors. This reissue marks the first time the album has returned to vinyl in that period. Picture sleeve with original cover artwork image of an unnamed 60s biker taken by Dennis Hopper, factory sealed.
