This example is Issue No. 13, distributed during a particularly significantperiod in the band's career following the enormous success of Violator and its accompanying world tour. Produced in limited quantities solely for fan club subscribers, the Bong fanzines offered fans exclusive access to band news, intervie0ws,photographs, tour information and behind-the-scenes material unavailable through the mainstream music press, making surviving copies increasingly desirable amongst Depeche Mode collectors.
