original 1987 Dayglo Green 4" oval-shaped cloth backstage
tour pass, issued during Depeche Mode’s Music For The
Masses world tour, which ran from October 1987 through to
June 1988 and included the band’s legendary 101st show at
the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, later immortalised in the 101 live
album and D. A. Pennebaker’s concert film.
This vivid cloth pass features bold black tour text printed
across the neon green background, designed with a
self-adhesive backing for use on clothing by crew, staff or
authorised personnel. Unlike the later fan club or promotional
reproductions, this is a genuine in-concert artefact, never
commercially available and issued strictly for official use.
The pass remains unused and in excellent condition – a
striking and authentic piece of Music For The Masses-era
memorabilia, capturing a pivotal moment when Depeche Mode
transitioned from cult favourites into stadium-filling icons) )
