I suppose you could also say that the previous owner has written his name unobtrusively on the back .... that would be true !
The history behind this album & the dedication thereon dates back to the dim & misty past when the GTOs roamed wild & free and Ringo Starr was pretending to be Frank Zappa in a surrealistic film interpretation of life on the road.
Howard Kaylan, the ex-Turtles vocalist turned Mother, happened to mention to Ringo that he had a copy of every Beatles LP. On hearing this, Ringo subsequently turned up with a copy of the UK fan club only LP 'From Then To You' & asked Howie if he had one of those.
A stunned Howard gratefully accepted the proffered gift & asked Ringo if he would sign it on the back, hence the dedication :
"To Howard - What Can I Say"
The album itself is superb with both sleeve & vinyl in fantastic condition and comes with some facinating history behind it too.
