THE SMITHS William It Was Really Nothing (Ultra Rare set of TWO 10" metal-based lacquer reference test pressing acetates for the 2008 Rhino UK limited edition 7" single release [originally RT166]. Cut into 10" discs, one acetate features both A & B sides [including Please Let Me Get What I Wanted] and the other acetate features the B side only. Each of the acetates has the handwritten matrix number in the centre of the disc. They are housed in a 12" 'Heathmans Mastering' card sleeve with custom studio labels on the front printed with the title, record company and pressing date of '21/9/2008'. One of the ultimate gems of any Smiths collection)

Measuring 13" x 6" this is a great piece of artwork thatw ould look stunning framed. There is some light creasing however this is unlikely to be visible when framed and with most pieces destroyed after release it is likely that this is one of only a handful still left in existence!)

The front s leeve is the incredible picture sleeve featuring Billie Whitelaw as Lottie from the 1968 movie 'Charlie Bubbles, measuring 25" x 13" this is a great piece of artwork that would look stunning framed. This was a 'Works in progress' artwork proof with partially tinted colouring & was used to confirm layout and text. This is most likely a 'one off'!)

THE SMITHS William It Was Really Nothing (Very scarce 1987 issue UK Rough Trade 2-track solid centre 7" vinyl single backed with How Soon Is Now. The song is popularly believed to have been written by Morrissey about his friend Billy Mackenzie, l ead singer ofThe Associates, with whom he was rumoured to be romantically linked. Housed in a mauve tinted picture sleeve featuring Billie Whitelaw as Lottie from the 1968 movie 'Charlie Bubbles', directed by Albert Finney. The sleeve has a sm mark in the top right corner, but the vinyl is in near mint condition. This issue has now become increasingly hard to find and much rarer than the original issue RT166).
