style="color:#B33A3A">Eco-Friendly Red Blend
Vinyl. The Breakdown is Keb' Mo's first
album since a health scare in 2024 led to emergency
open-heart surgery, recorded at his home studio outside
Nashville during recovery. It's also his first entirely
stripped-down record, built around just his voice and guitar,
with carefully placed contributions from the Soweto
Gospel Choirand gospel sextet Take 6. Keb' has
described the writing process directly: "It felt like everything
in my life was breaking down, my health, my relationship, my
whole world. The only way I knew how to respond was to
break the music down, too." The result is his most intimate
work in a five-decade career that includes five Grammy wins
and an Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement
Award. Picture sleeve with hype sticker, factory sealed) )
