	THE ZOMBIES Odessey And Oracle (Incredibly rare original 1968 UK 12-track stereo LP on the smooth & plain CBS orange label, with A2/B2 matrices & beautiful front laminated picture sleeve with one small period review clipping attached to the company inner. Overlooked on first release & now regarded as one of the finest English pop/psych albums of the era, this is a staggeringly handsome archive copy & a one previous owner example) Tracklisting: Recorded at Abbey Road and Olympic Studios between June and November 1967, by the time of the April '68 release of 'Odessey And Oracle', the Zombies had effectively split-up. This obviously hampered promotion of the album and sales were low as a result. The sleeve is as close to mint condition as you'll find, bought new at time of release & carefully stored away ever since, never to see the light of day again until now. The laminate is beautifully clean with the colours in Terry Quirk's psychedelic cover design wonderfully vivid. The cover shines as brightly as when first purchased over 40 years ago. All edges & the original pinched spine are intact & the spine is clearly legible. This particular example is the mono sleeve with no stereo sticker on the back. It is a common misconception that the mono is rarer than the stereo pressing. While the mono has become very desirable in the collectors markets, there were fewer stereo copies pressed. The vinyl is super clean & may well have only been played once in its life for review purposes. This is a fantastic 'timewarp' copy of an album consistently in the top 3 when it comes to polls for all time classic British sixties psych records. 	THE ZOMBIES The Zombies (Extremely rare 1966 Swedish only 12-track mono LP, fully laminated picture sleeve. Both track configuration & sleeve are unique to this release. Pressed by Teldec in Hamburg, Germany, this also has nice labels with gold print for the Decca logo & rim text & silver print for the track titles. The flimsy sleeve is in beautiful condition with just a little laminate creasing to show for its forty years & no significant edge scuffing. The vinyl too is in wonderfulc Tracklisting: ondition & has obviously been looked after. On close inspection there are a few light marks but nothing that would affect play. A very nice copy of this rare pressing & one that you would be unlikely to better!
