	FAIRPORT CONVENTION What We Did On Our Holidays (Rare 1968 UK first press 12-track stereo LP on the 'rough' textured pink with 'eye' logo label, front laminated picture sleeve. Only the very first issue had this label design. This copy is in fantastic condition! ILPS9092) See 'More Info' for further details ... Tracklisting: Apart from having the angelic vocals of the late Sandy Denny & the superb guitar work of Richard Thompson, there are also really nice versions of the traditional 'She Moves Through The Fair', Joni Michell's 'Eastern Rain' & the Fairport anthem 'Meet On The Ledge'. Both Sandy Denny & Richard Thompson were blossoming as songwriters and the band are at the top of their game. The labels are the classic rough textured 'Pink Eye' design and show no spindle marks around the centre hole, writing or any blemish whatsoever. The sleeve still has the slightly glossy varnish effect on the back with no significant shelfwear at all. If you were to be pedantic, there is the tiniest trace of scuffing at the very tips of the corners but trust me, you won't find one much better than this. I've actually saved the best 'till last ... The vinyl is staggering - as in 'shiny shiny' staggering. This has obviously been well looked after, played on superior equipment and then not played a lot by the looks of it. It's been played, so I won't call it Mint as I don't use the term unless it is unplayed, but it's not far off it. An absolute gem in as good a condition as you are ever likely to find ! 	FAIRPORT CONVENTION Unhalfbricking (Early 70s UK issue of the 1969 8-track stereo LP on the pink rim 'palm tree' label, housed in the eerie picture sleeve capturing Sandy Denny's parents, Neil & Edna, standing outside their family home in Wimbledon, South London. Sandy's omens are writ large here as her folks would sadly go on to outlive their daughter & even their son [drummer Martin Lamble also sits in front of Sandy in the picture, who sadly died within weeks of the photo being Tracklisting: taken].
