BLACK SABBATH Black Sabbath (Rare 1972 UK issue of the 1970 7-track LP on the Vertigo swirl label, housed in a matt gatefold picture sleeve with the poly lined company swirl inner. This example is a transitional issue between the 2nd and 3rd pressings, the label design match that used on the second pressing with the large swirl logo, yet the sleeve is that for a third, with all credits text in the correct upper and lower case, and with the composition and publishing credits added.This is where the record company had old label stock to use up before the new ones came into effect. The sleeve displays light general wear with a few light marks on the front and open edge, both labels are clean with only a few light spindle marks, and the vinyl has minimal signs of play.
