Bo Diddley's 1958 debut album remains one of the foundation stones of rock 'n' roll, built from a run of singles that helped reshape rhythm, guitar playing and attitude in popular music. Drawn from recordings released between 1955 and 1958, the album includes "I'm A Man", "Hey! Bo Diddley" and "Who Do You Love?", alongside "Diddley Daddy", "Before You Accuse Me" and "Pretty Thing". The result is a record that captures Bo Diddley's distinctive rhythmic stamp at full force, with the clipped, percussive drive that would echo through decades of rock music.
