Originally released in 1972, On The Corner stands as one of Miles Davis's most radical studio statements,blending funk, electric jazz and studio experimentation into a dense, rhythm-driven collage. Produced and assembled with extensive tape edits by Teo Macero, the album pushes groove and texture to the foreground, with tracks such as BlackSatin and Vote For Miles illustrating Davis's move toward urban funk minimalism. Housed in a gatefold picture sleeve reproducing the original artwork, with hype-sticker).
