Session</I> remains a singular achievement in recorded
music, proving that atmosphere, restraint, and intent can
outweigh studio complexity. Recorded overnight on 27
November 1987 inside Toronto's Holy Trinity Church using a
single microphone and a DAT recorder, the album captures
Cowboy Junkies in a state of remarkable focus, letting the
natural acoustics of the space shape the performance. This
<B>Expanded Edition</B> presents the album fully
remastered and spread across two LPs, restoring the scale
and dynamics of the original sessions. Alongside the core
album, two bonus tracks - "Blue Moon Revisited (Song For
Elvis)" and "Working On A Building" - are included, both now
firmly associated with the record's legacy. The set is housed
in a redesigned gatefold sleeve featuring additional
photography and new liner notes by author and music editor
