Rather than outtakes in any throwaway sense, the album captures Elvis in focused, expressive form, moving between deep soul, country and gospel-inflected arrangements with effortless authority. Key cuts include Percy Mayfield's "Stranger In My Own Home Town", plus "Inherit The Wind" and "And The Grass Won't Pay No Mind", all highlighting the depth and consistency of these sessions. This edition is housed in a deluxe picture sleeve with a linen laminate finish, hype sticker and limited to just 1500 individually numbered copies!).

Tracklisting / Additional Info: The recordings on Back In Memphis are the product of the same sessions as the popular From Elvis In Memphis, but fans know that Back In Memphis is much more than a collection of leftovers. Elvis' rendition of Percy Mayfield "Stranger In My Home Town" is a favorite hidden jam among Elvis aficionados.

The album is praised for Elvis' vocal delivery. This can be heard on "Without Love", a beautiful ode to Clyde McPhatter, one of the great soul inspirations in Elvis' life.

Back In Memphis is a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on green coloured vinyl.
