Originally released in 1979 the band's second album,
<I>Candy-O</I> saw The Cars reunite with Roy Thomas Baker
following their landmark debut. The record refined their sleek
new-wave sound while delivering some of their most
recognisable material, including "Let's Go," "It's All I Can Do,"
and "Dangerous Type." The album reached No. 3 on the US
Billboard album chart and has since been certified 4×
Platinum by the RIAA, reflecting its enduring commercial and
cultural impact. Housed inside a high-gloss gatefold sleeve,
this edition includes an <B>exclusive insert</B> featuring
new liner notes by producer <B>Roy Thomas Baker</B>.
