QUEEN Bohemian Rhapsody (1975 UK 7" 45rpm MONO single-sided metal based high grade methyl cellulose lacquer acetate with hand-annotated "Emidisc" company label stating "Bohemian Rhapsody" Queen from the Album 'A Night At The Opera' 45r/m MONO - additionally annotated with a triangular mono symbol. Housed inside a plain die-cut paper sleeve annotated in red biro 'Dave Ambrose Thurs 17' & pencil marked 'III½' & 'IIII½'. Rightly regarded as the most famous single in the world, this track has also come to define the point at which pop culture crossed over into high art, with its six-minute run time placing it as one of the most influential pieces of late Twentieth-Century music. This acetate can be placed close to the band with the name of former Fleetwood Mac bass guitarist turned EMI executive Dave Ambrose, who helped guide the band during this stage in their career, present on the sleeve. The label is clean, with all the text clearly legible, whilst the playing surface shows just two faint scuffs, otherwise no real sign of play is present.
